Own the story — as our Content Marketing Specialist, you'll lead our content strategy, run our socials, and oversee comms to build brand, drive engagement, and power democratic participation.
Job description
Go Vocal is a gov-tech SaaS scale-up reshaping digital democracy. Our platform has empowered 750,000+ people across 600+ cities in 20+ countries to participate in local decision-making. Our mission: build stronger democracies by making public decision-making more inclusive, participatory, and responsive. Recognized as Europe’s Best Social Impact Startup and featured in The New York Times, Forbes, and TIME magazine, we’re on track to reach 2.5 million active participants.
We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our narrative. In this role, you’ll drive our content strategy and production, manage our social channels, and oversee PR and communications. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you’ll thrive if you’re a creative builder who delivers high-quality content quickly, distributes it strategically, and transforms compelling stories into measurable growth.
What will be your responsibilities?
Content strategy: Propose content pillars and a strategy that serve our audiences, tell our story effectively, and drive awareness and growth.
Content roadmap: Own the editorial calendar across formats, markets, and audiences; keep it tightly linked to growth goals and priorities.
Create modern content (hands-on copywriting): Leverage AI tools to scale efficiency while keeping a high quality bar; write and produce long-form pieces (case studies, landing pages, newsletters, thought leadership, SEO/GEO) and short-form assets (video, tools & templates, ads, and interactive demos) – repurpose smartly across social, email, and sales enablement.
Social publishing & distribution: Build distribution into the plan from day one; own our social strategy end-to-end – planning, posting, engagement, and exec/founder amplification – across LinkedIn, Substack, and more.
PR & communications oversight: Oversee PR planning and execution – collaborate with agencies and freelancers, set briefs, maintain media lists, coordinate press releases, webinars, and speaking engagements.
Measurement: Track impact and prioritize the roadmap based on what builds brand, drives traffic, and converts.
